About Shubham
Shubham Kapadiya is currently in his 5th year of study in the Architectural Engineering Program at Penn State University. In May 2018, he will graduate with an Integrated Bachelor/Master of Architectural Engineering degree, with a focus in structural systems. He passed the FE Exam in May 2017 and will gain EIT status upon graduation.
During the summer of 2017, Shubham participated in structural engineering internship with Baker Ingram and Associates, a structural engineering consulting firm, working with building structures design as well as renovations. As part of the internship, he was involved in multiple stages of the design process on several projects. He also assisted with structural analysis calculations and reviewing shop drawings.
Along with his studies, Mr. Kapadiya also contributes his time in building community at Penn State through his role as a Resident Assistant. He is also dedicated in helping students struggling with mathematics related coursework by holding weekly review sessions and one-on-one tutoring through Penn State Learning. As a peer coordinator at Penn State Learning, he served as a leader for over 50 tutors.
